AllDrafts is a smart, powerful word processor designed just for contracts. It runs in your browser and stores documents in the cloud. It’s easy, light-weight, and installation-free.
Many contract drafting tools run as add-ins for Microsoft Word, inside Word. AllDrafts is different, and we chose that difference so that we could offer a smarter, richer, easier experience for every step of the contract process, from choosing a template to client intake to editing to e-signature.
But maybe your firm has standardized on Microsoft Word documents and has a complex document management process tied to a server or practice management solution.
You can still use AllDrafts to speed and ease your drafting, or to take advantage of our powerful document automation and smart templates.
AllDrafts exports super-clean Microsoft Word (and PDF) documents, and with our smart file-naming patterns you don’t even have to worry about choosing a file name. You can just click the Word document icon on the toolbar and AllDrafts will download the latest version of your document immediately, using the most recent settings from the File > Download Word page settings.
If you want to change the pattern of generated file names you will find it in folder settings. Check out the naming pattern options to see how you can add dates, revision numbers, or even matter IDs.
In the future we plan to integrate directly into file management systems; let us know which your practice uses.
