Retirement. "Retirement" means termination of the Employee's employment with the Company, other than a termination by the Company for Cause, in which the Termination Date occurs on or after the date the Employee has reached the age of fifty-five (55) and has completed at least five (5) years of service with the Company.
“Retirement” means any termination of employment (other than by death or Disability) by an employee who is at least 65 years of age, or 55 years of age with at least ten years of employment with the Company or a Subsidiary of the Company.
Section # “Retirement” means, with respect to any Employee, voluntary or involuntary termination of employment (other than a Discharge for Cause) occurring at or after the Employee’s sixty-fifth (65th) birthday, or, with the consent of the Committee, prior to such date.
Retirement. Retirement means any termination of your employment after you have reached age 65 and have been employed by the Company for at least 10 years.
“Retirement” means termination of employment after reaching age 55 with 5 years of completed service, or such more favorable retirement treatment as may apply based on Company practices in effect from time to time. For purposes of this definition, you will be credited with one year of service after completion of each full 12-month period of employment with the Company or an Affiliate as determined by the Company or Affiliate.

"Retirement" or to "Retire" means the Participant's Termination of Employment for any reason other than death, Disability, or for Cause, on or after the earlier of the following dates, or as otherwise provided by the Committee: # for Officer Level Employees, the date the Participant is at least age fifty-five (55) and has completed a 5 year Term of Employment; provided, however, that individuals who are designated as an Officer on or after October 1, 2015, must have completed a 10-year Term of Employment; or # the date the Participant has attained one of the following combinations of age and service, except as otherwise indicated below:
“Retirement” means Termination of employment with the Company other than for Cause (A) after attaining age 55 and having completed at least ten (10) years of Company service or (B) pursuant to AEP’s Mandatory Retirement Policy.
The term “Retirement” as used in this Agreement shall mean Executive’s termination of employment (for any reason other than termination by the Company for Cause: # after attainment of age sixty-five (65) or # after attainment of age fifty-five (55) provided that Executive has continuously been an employee or consultant to the Company for not less than ten (10) years.
“Qualifying Retirement” shall mean that the Employee voluntarily retires from the employ of the Company or its Subsidiaries at or after both attaining age fifty-five (55) and completing five (5) consecutive years of service. For purposes of this Agreement, a “year of service” shall mean a twelve (12) month period of continuous full-time employment with the Company (determined without regard to any breaks in service due to any paid leave of absence or any unpaid leave of absence authorized in writing by the Company). For the avoidance of doubt, termination of the Employee’s employment by the Company, either with or without Cause, shall not be treated as a Qualifying Retirement.
