“MSCI US REIT Index” means the MSCI US REIT Index (RMS) as published from time to time (or a successor index including a comparable universe of publicly traded U.S. real estate investment trusts), provided that if # the MSCI US REIT Index ceases to exist or be published prior to the Valuation Date and the Committee determines that there is no successor to such index or # the Committee reasonably determines that the MSCI US REIT Index is no longer suitable for the purposes of this 2018 Outperformance Plan, then the Committee in its good faith reasonable discretion shall select for subsequent Performance Periods, or if the Committee in its reasonable good faith discretion so determines, for any portion of an outstanding Performance Period, a substitute comparable index for purposes of calculating the Relative Baseline.
