General Prohibition contract clause examples

General. A determination that any portion of this Note is unenforceable or invalid shall not affect the enforceability or validity of any other provision, and any determination that the application of any provision of this Note to any person or circumstance is illegal or unenforceable shall not affect the enforceability or validity of such provision to the extent legally permissible and otherwise as it may apply to other persons or circumstances.

Severability. If any provision of this Note, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, shall to any extent be invalid, void, illegal or unenforceable in any respect, the remainder of the provisions of this Note, or the application of such provision to other persons or circumstances, shall not be affected thereby, and each provision of this Note shall be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

If any clause or any other portion of this Note shall be determined to be void or unenforceable for any reason, such determination shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other clause or portion of this Note, all of which shall remain in full force and effect.
