Fractions contract clause examples

Hazardous Substances” means (a) any hazardous materials, hazardous wastes, hazardous substances, toxic wastes, solid wastes and toxic substances as those or similar terms are defined under any Environmental Laws; (b) any friable asbestos or friable asbestos containing material; (c) polychlorinated biphenyls (“PCBs”), or PCB-containing materials or fluids; (d) radon; (e) any petroleum, petroleum hydrocarbons, petroleum products, crude oil and any fractions or derivatives thereof; (f) per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances; and (g) any other hazardous, radioactive, toxic or noxious substance, material, pollutant or contaminant that, whether by its nature or its use, is subject to regulation or giving rise to liability under any Environmental Laws.

Hazardous Substances” means any hazardous or toxic substances, materials or waste, whether solid, semisolid, liquid or gaseous, including asbestos, polychlorinated biphenyls, petroleum or petroleum by-products, radioactive materials, radon gas and any other material or substance which is defined as or included in the definition of a “hazardous substance”, “hazardous waste”, “toxic waste”, “hazardous material”, “toxic pollutant”, “contaminant”, “pollutant” or “toxic substance” or words of similar import, under any Environmental Law or that could result in the imposition of liability under any Environmental Laws.

Hazardous Substances” shall mean hazardous or toxic substances or materials, hazardous wastes, pollutants or contaminants as said terms are defined by Environmental Laws or with respect to which liability or standards of conduct are imposed under any Environmental Laws, including, without limitation, petroleum or petroleum constituents, friable asbestos-containing material or polychlorinated biphenyls.

Hazardous Substances” means any hazardous or toxic substances, materials or waste, whether in solid, semisolid, liquid or gaseous form, including, without limitation, asbestos, polychlorinated biphenyls, petroleum or petroleum by-products and any other material or substance which is defined as a “hazardous substance”, “hazardous waste”, “toxic waste” or “toxic substance” under any Environmental Laws.

Hazardous Substances” means any substance, waste, chemical, pollutant or contaminant, material or compound in any form, including petroleum, crude oil or any fraction thereof, asbestos or asbestos containing materials, or polychlorinated biphenyls, that is regulated pursuant to any Environmental Law.

Hazardous Substances” shall mean any toxic, radioactive, mutagenic, carcinogenic, noxious, caustic or otherwise hazardous substance, material or waste, including petroleum, its derivatives, by‑products and other hydrocarbons, including, without limitation, polychlorinated biphenyls (“PCBs”), asbestos or asbestos-containing material, and any substance, waste or material regulated or that could reasonably be expected to result in liability under Environmental and Safety Laws.

Hazardous Substance” shall mean any hazardous material, substance, pollutant, contaminant, waste, chemical substance or mixture, pesticide, petroleum, petroleum product or byproduct, asbestos or asbestos-containing material, polychlorinated biphenyls, per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, or other substance, waste or material for which liability is imposed pursuant to any Environmental Laws, including all substances defined or regulated as “Hazardous,” “Toxic,” or a “Pollutant” pursuant to any Environmental Law.

Hazardous Substance” means any pollutant, contaminant, compound, substance, mixture, material or waste that is regulated, classified or otherwise characterized under or pursuant to any Environmental Law as “hazardous,” “toxic,” “radioactive” or “dangerous,” or words of similar meaning or effect, including asbestos, polychlorinated biphenyls, and petroleum and petroleum derivatives.

Hazardous Substances” means any substance regulated under any Environmental Laws, including without limitation hazardous substances as defined by the Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act, 42 U.S.C. §9601 et seq., as amended, petroleum products, radioactive materials, asbestos and polychlorinated biphenyls.

Hazardous Materials” means all materials, pollutants, contaminants, chemicals, compounds, constituents, substances or wastes, or words of similar import, in any form, including petroleum or petroleum distillates, explosives, radioactive materials, friable asbestos or asbestos-containing materials, polychlorinated biphenyls, per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, radon gas, toxic mold, or other emissions that are regulated, or which liability may be imposed, under Environmental Law.

Hazardous Substance” shall mean any of the following: (a) any petroleum or petroleum product, explosives, radioactive materials, asbestos, formaldehyde, polychlorinated biphenyls, lead and radon gas; (b) any substance, material, product, derivative, compound or mixture, mineral, chemical, waste, gas, medical waste, or pollutant, in each case whether naturally occurring, man‑made or the by‑product of any process, that is toxic, harmful or hazardous to the environment or health or safety of human beings; or (c) any substance, material, product, derivative, compound or mixture, mineral, chemical, waste, gas, medical waste or pollutant that would support the assertion of any claim under any Environmental Law or is the subject of regulatory action by any Governmental Authority under any Environmental Law, whether or not defined as hazardous as such under any Environmental Law.
