Fractions contract clause examples

Regulated Substances” shall mean, without limitation, any substance, material or waste, regardless of its form or nature, defined under Environmental Laws as a “hazardous substance,” “pollutant,” “pollution,” “contaminant,” “hazardous or toxic substance,” “extremely hazardous substance,” “toxic chemical,” “toxic substance,” “toxic waste,” “hazardous waste,” “special handling waste,” “industrial waste,” “residual waste,” “solid waste,” “municipal waste,” “mixed waste,” “infectious waste,” “chemotherapeutic waste,” “medical waste,” “pesticide” or “regulated substance” or any other substance, material or waste, regardless of its form or nature, which is regulated, controlled or governed by Environmental Laws due to its radioactive, ignitable, corrosive, reactive, explosive, toxic, carcinogenic or infectious properties or nature or any other material, substance or waste, regardless of its form or nature, which otherwise is regulated, controlled or governed by Environmental Laws, including petroleum and petroleum products (including crude oil and any fractions thereof), natural gas, synthetic gas and any mixtures thereof, asbestos, urea formaldehyde, polychlorinated biphenyls, mercury, radon and radioactive materials.

Regulated Substances shall mean, without limitation, any substance, material or waste, regardless of its form or nature, defined under Environmental Laws as a “hazardous substance”, “pollutant”, “pollution”, “contaminant”, “hazardous or toxic substance”, “extremely hazardous substance”, “toxic chemical”, “toxic substance”, “toxic waste”, “hazardous waste”, “special handling waste”, “industrial waste”, “residual waste”, “solid waste”, “municipal waste”, “mixed waste”, “infectious waste”, “chemotherapeutic waste”, “medical waste”, “pesticide” or “regulated substance” or any other substance, material or waste, regardless of its form or nature, which is regulated, controlled or governed by Environmental Laws due to its radioactive, ignitable, corrosive, reactive, explosive, toxic, carcinogenic or infectious properties or nature or any other material, substance or waste, regardless of its form or nature, which otherwise is regulated, controlled or governed by Environmental Laws including without limitation, petroleum and petroleum products (including crude oil and any fractions thereof), natural gas, synthetic gas and any mixtures thereof, asbestos, urea formaldehyde, polychlorinated biphenlys, mercury, radon and radioactive materials.

Regulated Substances shall mean any substance, including any solid, liquid, semisolid, gaseous, thermal, thoriated or radioactive material, refuse, garbage, wastes, chemicals, petroleum products, by-products, coproducts, impurities, dust, scrap, heavy metals, any substance defined as a “hazardous substance”, “pollutant”, “pollution”, “contaminant”, “hazardous or toxic substance”, “extremely hazardous substance”, “toxic chemical”, “toxic waste”, “hazardous waste”, “industrial waste”, “residual waste”, “solid waste”, “municipal waste”, “mixed waste”, “infectious waste”, “chemotherapeutic waste”, “medical waste”, “regulated substance” or any related materials, substances or wastes as now or hereafter defined pursuant to any Environmental Laws, ordinances, rules, regulations or other directives of any Official Body, the generation, manufacture, extraction, processing, distribution, treatment, storage, disposal, transport, recycling, reclamation, use, reuse, spilling, leaking, dumping, injection, pumping, leaching, emptying, discharge, escape, release or other management or mismanagement of which is regulated by the Environmental Laws.

Hazardous Substance” means any substance presently listed, defined, designated or classified as hazardous, toxic, radioactive, or dangerous, or otherwise regulated, under any Environmental Law. Hazardous Substance includes any substance to which exposure is regulated by any Governmental Body or any Environmental Law including any toxic waste, pollutant, contaminant, hazardous substance, toxic substance, hazardous waste, special waste, industrial substance or petroleum or any derivative or byproduct thereof, radon, radioactive material, asbestos, or asbestos containing material, urea formaldehyde, foam insulation or polychlorinated biphenyls.

Hazardous Substance” means any pollutant, contaminant, compound, substance, mixture, material or waste that is regulated, classified or otherwise characterized under or pursuant to any Environmental Law as “hazardous,” “toxic,” “radioactive” or “dangerous,” or words of similar meaning or effect, including asbestos, polychlorinated biphenyls, and petroleum and petroleum derivatives.

Hazardous Substances” shall mean any chemical, substance, waste, material, pollutant, or contaminant defined as or deemed hazardous or toxic or otherwise regulated under any Environmental Law, including oil and petroleum products or byproducts and any constituents thereof, urea formaldehyde insulation, asbestos, and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).
