Duties and Responsibilities; Best Efforts. While employed by [[Nucor Corporation:Organization]], Executive shall perform such duties for and on behalf of [[Nucor Corporation:Organization]] as may be determined and assigned to Executive from time to time by the Chief Executive Officer of [[Nucor Corporation:Organization]] or the Board. Executive shall devote Executive’s full time and best efforts to the business and affairs of [[Nucor Corporation:Organization]]. BEST EFFORTS. The Company shall use all commercially reasonable efforts to timely satisfy each of the conditions set forth in this Agreement.

Best Efforts. The parties shall use their commercially reasonable best efforts to satisfy timely each of the conditions described in [Section 7 and 8]8] of this Agreement.

Best Efforts. For so long as you are employed hereunder, you will devote an average of 20% of your business time and energies to the business and affairs of the Company, and, when performing work for the Company, shall faithfully, industriously and to the best of your ability, experience and talent, perform the duties and responsibilities described in [Schedule 1]. In furtherance of, and not in limitation of the foregoing, during the term of this Agreement, you further agree that you shall not, with the exception of the company or companies that are identified on [Schedule 2] attached hereto, if any, and subject to the provisions thereof, render commercial or professional services of any nature, including as a founder, advisor, or a member of a board of directors, to any person or organization, whether or not for compensation, that is competitive with the business, products or services at any time offered, developed or marketed by the Company and/or its subsidiaries, without the prior approval of the Chief Executive Officer in his sole discretion; provided, however, that nothing contained in this Section 1(b) will be deemed to prevent or limit your right to manage your personal investments on your own personal time. As set forth above, your employment with the Company is "at-will,'' and, accordingly, either you or the Company may terminate your employment at any time, with or without cause, for any reason or no reason.

Best Efforts. During the Term, the Executive shall devote her best efforts and full time and attention to promote the business and affairs of the Company and its affiliated entities, and shall be engaged in other business activities only to the extent that such activities do not materially interfere or conflict with the Executive’s obligations to the Company hereunder, including, without limitation, obligations pursuant to Section 14 below. The foregoing shall not be construed as preventing the Executive from # serving on civic, educational, philanthropic or charitable boards or committees, or, with the prior written consent of the Board, in its sole discretion, on corporate boards, and # managing personal investments, so long as such
