For purposes of this Agreement, the term “Hazardous Substance” means: # any substance that is regulated or that falls within the definition of a “hazardous substance,” “solid waste,” “hazardous waste,” “toxic waste” or “hazardous material” pursuant to any Environmental Law; # any petroleum, petroleum product or by-product, asbestos or asbestos-containing material, polychlorinated biphenyls, radioactive materials or radon; or # any substance the release of which could reasonably be expected to result in liability under any Environmental Law.
“Hazardous Substances” means any substancesubstance, material or waste that is regulated or that falls within the definitionotherwise defined as a pollutant, contaminant toxic, hazardous, explosive or radioactive (or words of a “hazardous substance,” “solid waste,” “hazardous waste,” “toxic waste”similar intent or “hazardous material” pursuantmeaning) and any other substance with respect to anywhich Liability or standards of conduct may be imposed under applicable Environmental Law; # any petroleum,Law, including petroleum product or by-product,and petroleum products, byproducts and wastes, asbestos or asbestos-asbestos‑containing material,materials, polychlorinated biphenyls, radioactive materials or radon; or # any substance the release of which could reasonably be expected to result in liability under any Environmental Law.radon, urea, formaldehyde, mold, lead based paint and radiation.
“Hazardous Materials” means # any substance that is regulated or that falls within the definition of a “hazardous substance,” “solid waste,“pollutant,” “contaminant,” “hazardous waste,” “regulated substance,” “hazardous chemical” or “toxic waste”chemical” as designated, listed or “hazardous material” pursuant todefined (whether expressly or by reference) in any Environmental Law; # any petroleum, petroleum productother pollutant, chemical, substance, toxic, infectious, carcinogenic, reactive, corrosive, ignitable or by-product, asbestosflammable chemical, or asbestos-containing material, polychlorinated biphenyls, radioactive materialschemical compound, or radon;hazardous substance, material or # any substance the release of which could reasonably be expectedwaste, whether solid, liquid or gas, that is subject to result in liabilityregulation, control or remediation under any Environmental Law.Laws, including any quantity of asbestos in any form, urea, formaldehyde, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), radon gas, petroleum, waste oil, crude oil, or any fraction thereof, all forms of natural gas, petroleum products or by-products or derivatives, and # any compound, mixture, solution, product or other substance or material that contains any hazardous substance or material referred to in [clause [(a) and (b) above]e]].
“Hazardous Materials” means: # any substancesubstance, material, or waste that is regulated or that fallsincluded within the definitiondefinitions of a “hazardous substance,substances,” “solid waste,“hazardous materials,” “hazardous waste,” “toxic waste”substances,” “toxic materials,” “toxic waste,” or “hazardous material” pursuant towords of similar import in any Environmental Law; # those substances listed as hazardous substances by the United States Department of Transportation (or any successor agency) (49 C.F.R. 172.101 and amendments thereto) or by the Environmental Protection Agency (or any successor agency) (40 C.F.R. Part 302 and amendments thereto); and # any substance, material, or waste that is petroleum, petroleum-related, or a petroleum product or by-product, asbestos or asbestos-containing material, polychlorinated biphenyls, radioactive materialsflammable, explosive, radioactive, freon gas, radon, or radon;a pesticide, herbicide, or # any substance the release of which could reasonably be expected to result in liability under any Environmental Law.other agricultural chemical.
“Hazardous Substance” means: #means any substance that isis: (i) listed, classified or regulated or that falls within the definition of a “hazardous substance,” “solid waste,” “hazardous waste,” “toxic waste” or “hazardous material” pursuant to any Environmental Law; #(ii) any petroleum, petroleum product or by-product, asbestos ornatural gas, synthetic gas, and any mixtures thereof, asbestos-containing material, lead-containing paint or plumbing, polychlorinated biphenyls, radioactive materialsmaterials, radon, or radon;per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances; or #(iii) any other substance which is the releasesubject of which could reasonably be expectedregulatory action by any Governmental Entity pursuant to result in liability under any Environmental Law.
